As a Medical Information Specialist (MIS) you will form part of ProPharma's Medical Information Contact Center. Through following regulations, industry standards, and client/internal policies you will collect information and document adverse events, special situation events, and product complaints.
You will handle responsibilities across Medical Information service delivery and Quality Assurance including:
- Responding to unsolicited consumer, health care professional and other external customer requests for medical and safety information via telephone, website/e-mail, letter, fax, and scientific meetings.
- Providing labeled and unlabeled medical/safety information responses in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and client and ProPharma internal policies and practices.
- Accurately identifying, documenting and reporting adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events and product complaints.
- Meeting deadlines documented in the agreed ProPharma SOPs and WPs.
- Performing quality checks on Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, correspondence, and enquiries logged into the Inquiry Handling Systems.
- Providing after-hours coverage on a rotating basis subject to business requirements.
Qualified candidates must have:
- Life science degree, Pharmacy degree or Nursing degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and professional telephone etiquette
- Some customer service experience (preferred)
