Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks in our warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials from suppliers and production, ensuring that all materials are checked for accuracy and quality.
  • Pick and fulfill orders from stock, making sure that orders are accurate and complete.
  • Pack and ship orders to customers, ensuring that all items are packed securely and safely for transportation.
  • Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse, maintaining an efficient and well-organized system.
  • Conduct inventory counts and stock checks as required, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping and maintaining a tidy work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure that orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
