Police Information Technician I

Type: Full Time

Salary/Pay Rate: $30,761- $55,221 annually, plus excellent benefits

Summary
The Police Information Technician I monitors and responds to radio and telephone calls for law enforcement service. Conducts Department of Motor Vehicle checks, warrant checks, conducts criminal record checks. Creates and maintains detailed files for the Police Department

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or GED Good knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment

Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record

Some knowledge of customer service techniques especially when dealing with angry or discourteous people, and

Division of Criminal Information (DCI) certification within 120 days of employment.

Work Schedule

24/7 rotating shifts
