Job description
We are looking for a medical assistant with experience in orthopedics to join our growing team! We are searching for a medical assistant that strives to put patients first and who works well with others. Medical assistant job duties are as follows:
- Setting up charts for patients
- Rooming patients
- Working closely alongside the physician during clinic
- Scheduling surgeries
- Coordinating with medical reps for surgery
- Obtaining authorizations for surgery, medications and HA injections as needed
- Answering patient phone calls and returning calls as needed
Additional skills that will be learned at our practice:
- Casting
- Splinting
- Bracing
Preferred experience: 2 years in Orthopedics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
