Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in Medical Assisting is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant medical software programs.
- Knowledge of general medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide necessary intake forms and documentation.
- Obtain vital signs and update patient records in accordance with medical regulations.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, including administering medications, injections, and treatments.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient care areas, including exam rooms and equipment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Schedule, confirm, and follow-up on patient appointments.
- Participate in training, continuing education, and professional development activities to maintain knowledge and skills.
