Medical Assistant—Job Description
- Looking for a responsible, reliable professional that is a certified medical assistant for a full-time position
- Hours are 830am-5pm Monday-Thursday; 830am-4pm Friday
- Involves rooming patients, taking manual vital signs, and updating patient records
- Including but not limited to: medication reconciliation, assisting with referral process, assisting with scheduling procedures (imaging, biopsies), and other administrative tasks
- Also assist with managing inventory of medical supplies in each office, as well as equipment in exam rooms
- Provide provider support services in office and dialysis unit settings
- Occasional travel to dialysis units (typically 3-5x per month)
- Occasional travel to other office sites (possibly 1-2x per week, but limited to 20 miles)
- Provide triage assistance when not paired with a provider
- Includes answering patient questions/emails, assisting with prescription refills, and helping coordinate patient care with MDs for urgent patient questions
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to communicate clearly/effectively with patients in a courteous and friendly manner
- Must maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Provide 30min lunch break daily (to coordinate/alternate with other office staff members)

- Hourly rate: starting at $18/hr but may depend on experience and training

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
