Job description
We're looking for a personable and friendly individual to join our team of Medical Assistants. A successful candidate will have prior experience in a medical setting, knowledge and comfort with medical equipment and an understanding of routine procedures. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and has a genuine interest in primary care and internal medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Follow legal and ethical guidelines for medical treatment and patient communication.
- Understand medical procedures and demonstrate proper techniques of physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other personnel.
- Practice good physical exam techniques.
- Evaluate laboratory test results and communicate patient results to physicians.
- Demonstrate an understanding of medical concepts such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, endocrinology.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
