Job description

Internal Medicine practice is looking for a Medical Assistant/Front Office person to become part of our care team. We are a low-volume practice with a Physician and a Nurse Practitioner. Our work environment is relaxed, and you will be essential in helping to provide outstanding preventative and primary care to our patients.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Rooming patients.
  • Taking vitals and brief histories.
  • Giving injections.
  • Drawing and processing labs for pick up.
  • Preparing schedules.
  • Cleaning of the rooms between patients.
  • Answering phones if needed.
  • Uploading documents to our EMR.

Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working as an MA.
  • Must have front office experience to perform Administrative Assistant duties (answering phones, preparing for next day’s appointments, scanning documents into EMR, helping providers with messages and follow-ups).
