The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working within the field of IG for a large organisation handling substantial amounts of personal data, and deploying innovative technology.

We have made a significant long term investment in Information Governance (IG) and we are expanding the IG team in order to meet the complex challenges of data protection within the trust.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Post -graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Demonstrated experience of co - ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
  • Experience of managing risks and reporting
  • Significant demonstrable experience in managing information governance and FOI, or comparable process
  • Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
