Job description
We are currently looking for an Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant to join our long established and well-respected ophthalmology clinic. Bilinugal candidates will be strongly considered!
Responsibilities:
- Initial work up including, preparing rooms, gathering ocular/medical history.
- Administer near and distance visual acuity's tests, color vision, tonometry, check pupils, dilate patients, auto-refract.
- Assists physicians during exams as needed, including scribing, scheduling various testing procedures, surgeries etc.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with patients both in person and on the phone.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented and write legibly.
- Highly energetic with positive attitude.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working with kids.
- Must be a team player.
