Duties for This Position

As a Medical Assistant in the Santaquin Clinic you will work under the general direction of the physician. The Medical Assistant performs all tasks related to the efficient operation of the doctor’s office. The MA will also perform a variety of tasks and procedures that require independent judgment at a level not requiring constant supervision.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Graduation from accredited School of Medical Assistant Training

Certification as Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Experience

One year experience as a trained MA preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of medical office procedures and processes. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
