Description
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated medical assistant to join our busy healthcare practice with focus in Occupational Medicine and Worker's Compensation. The medical assistant front-office will be responsible for managing the front desk and reception area, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and performing administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant certification (preferred)
- Experience working in a medical office or clinic (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records
