Woodside Medical Practice – Job Description
The successful candidate will join the professional team at the busy Woodside Medical Practice and will undertake a variety of Business Administrative duties, as part of the practice’s non-clinical team. Experience in General Practice would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate. This demanding role requires working well under pressure. Good IT/computer skills are essential for this role.
The successful applicant will undertake such duties as:
Booking patient appointments
Registering patients, including permanent and temporary registrations
Handling telephone enquiries which will include receiving and making telephone calls as required ensuring accuracy and detail are recorded as necessary
Working as part of Front of House / Patient Reception / Patient Relations Team
Document processing and scanning
Filing / retrieval of patient notes
Clinical Coding
Summarising
Data entry and checking
Patient referrals

For the right candidate we are offering
Full time – 5 days a week rolling rota 8 – 4, 10 – 6 alternate weeks including extended access 2 nights a week on a rota basis.
Hourly rate – minimum wage based on age
You will be required to contribute to the teams sickness and holiday rota cover being flexible at short notice

You will be subject to completing a six month probationary period

Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
