Production Line Packers Calleva is a European leader in the development, manufacture and packing of specialist sport, health, and wellbeing products. Based in North Petherton, Bridgwater we are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to assist with the packing of filled products into boxes and shippers.ResponsibilitiesCorrectly set up, change over, and shut down packing station for effective production and cleaningEfficiently operate the packing line according to work instructionsCheck packing instructions and stock for the correct pallet formationMaintain a clean and tidy work areaConduct relevant Quality Control (QC) checksComplete and record all paperwork accuratelyClean the line and work area in accordance with work instructionsPerform daily safety checksTake a high level of personal responsibility and comply with the Food Safety and Quality management system proceduresAdhere to Health & Safety procedures and good working practicesThe personAccuracy and attention to detail are of utmost importanceHardworking, enthusiastic, and conscientious with a flexible attitudeAbility to learn quickly and work on own initiativeEfficient and reliable, observing rules and processes affecting the roleAwareness of Food safety and Quality Management systems would be an advantageExperience working in a food or pharmaceutical factory would be an advantageA reasonable level of fitness as the work involves standing for long periodsJob Types: Full time 39 hrs/weekSalary: £10.42 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:30 and Friday 08:00 – 13:00:00Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £10.42 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We have a COVID-19 risk assessment which is regularly updated and covers all government requirements and recommendations.
