Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Placement Student to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Engine Business and Components Unit in Darlington, County Durham. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supporting over 1000 employees and leaders at the Darlington site in customer and business focused functions across Engine Business Unit and Cummins Emission Solutions.
- Partnering directly with employees and managers on all areas of the people profession – learning and development, people analytics, talent management and resourcing, employee relations and diversity and inclusion.
- Quickly gain a high level of responsibility on key projects and will gain exposure to senior management and leaders across the organisation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Enrolled on a degree with significant HR content which includes a 12-month industry placement.
- Must have a passion for learning, be able to work inclusively and value people.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude due to direct employee and manager contact and support required.High level of confidentiality due to the nature of the work in the HR team.
