WHAT CAN EXPECT

• Support system-wide service line initiatives by writing copy as part of the Enterprise Creative/Project team.
• Media duties include pitching stories, writing press releases, feature story writing, human interest writing and more specifically directed toward the various media of print, radio, television and web markets.
• Develop strong professional relationships with media professionals.
• Respond to media inquiries on a timely basis.
• Provide photography support as needed for publications, advertising, collateral materials as well as community and physician events.
• Write speeches and columns for Franciscan Alliance leadership.
• Write copy for brochures, direct mail, advertising, website, press releases, radio, digital and other collateral printed materials as assigned by the marketing communications manager.
• Recommend proactive strategies to obtain positive media coverage and advance health system messages by working closely with marketing communications manager on the creation of news releases and media pitches.
• Write stories and coordinates photos for enterprise magazine (Franciscan Focus).
• Assist Marketing Communications manager in developing copy for CRM landing pages, nurturing emails and downloadable guides.
• Serve as editor of Northern Indiana’s weekly Spirit newsletter.
• Assist in managing project requests from outside departments.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years Health Care Preferred
