The Opportunity:
At Brkthru, a Media Strategist is responsible for delivering thoughtful, well-reasoned media plans, as well as insightful research, to support new business as well as existing clients. You’ll bring a balanced perspective and panoramic viewpoint to successfully navigate the distance between client needs/wants, platform/policy capabilities, and brkthru’s point of view.
Responsibilities:
Leverages leading research platforms for industry, audience, media mix, and budget intelligence to guide and inform thoughtful media plans
Develops research briefs to clearly convey and visually represent key insights
Translates client business goals and marketing objectives into digital KPIs/strategies
Applies knowledge of campaign metrics for measurement, platform policies and restrictions, as well as pricing and inventory dynamics to media plans
Strategically frames strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for both internal teams and clients
Lends support, when needed, for development of proposal presentations for key accounts
Keeps abreast of current events, social/digital media trends, and any target market industry happenings that impact our business and those of our clients
Identifies new insights and opportunities to add value to new and prospective clients
Adheres to the notion that strategy is a team sport and flourishes with diverse perspectives
Helps to build and maintain internal reference and training materials/documentation
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
4 - 6 years experience in programmatic media, digital advertising and marketing
Extensive knowledge of best practices in client strategy development, account management, and digital media services
Prior experience with paid social, SEM, programmatic display, video, native, audio and/or DOOH channels
Exposure to the following platforms: The Trade Desk, Beeswax, Google Analytics, Facebook, DV360, Simpli.fi, Twitter, LinkedIn, Amazon, Snapchat, and/or TikTok
Works independently, effectively manages time, and prioritizes task load
Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering top-notch work
Willingness to go above and beyond specific requirements to exceed expectations
Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills
Partners well with team members across multiple levels of the organization (leadership and peers) as well as both inter- and intra-departmentally
