They will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents/carers and the wider school community and will have a commitment to the well-being, safeguarding and development of the children in their care. As early educators, it is vital that staff speak well and correctly so that children learn from them.
The role consists of but is not limited to; taking requests when loudly singing nursery rhymes, laughing at jokes that you don’t find funny, reading stories with at least 10 interruptions per page, zipping up over 30 coats a day, making mud pies, negotiating obstacle courses and building sandcastles in all weathers. Showing off your quirky side by dressing up and becoming an astronaut, elf, alien and all manner of weird and wonderful things. Being prepared to feel loved and important by all our children and their families! It really is a dream job for someone who is passionate and wants to make a difference in the lives of very young children.
The role consists of working as a key adult with a child with a SEND diagnosis, making observations of the child and keeping their electronic learning journey up to date as well as delivering activities and working alongside the class teacher with a high level of commitment and care.
The successful candidates will hold Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, with English and Maths GCSE grade C or equivalent. They should have thorough knowledge of all aspects of the early years’ curriculum.
We offer a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff and Governors and active, supportive parents in a caring and happy environment where all are valued and achievement is celebrated. Our school offers a team of supportive colleagues who work collaboratively with one another with the best interests of the children always at heart. We care not only for the children but also for our whole staff team. We support one another professionally – with lots of opportunities for staff development as well as promoting well-being for all.
Application forms can be obtained online or by emailing the school office on [email protected].
