Alchemy Media is a media planning & buying agency based in Harrogate. We help brands to develop strategies to get their advertising in front of the right people, at the right time and in the right environments delivering standout, ultimately helping support their wider business objectives.
We do this for a wide range of companies - from food brands you'll see on supermarket shelves through to luxury brands, retail & leisure companies, trade businesses, utility providers and more.
We rely heavily on our research & analysis skills to ensure we're making smart recommendations on where to place advertising to deliver the greatest impact for our clients.
Working closely with all the major media brands such as ITV, Channel 4, Sky, Meta, Google, radio stations, newspaper & magazine brands etc, we act as guardians of our client's budget, ensuring their media investment is spent wisely.
About the position
You will be responsible for providing support to your team in answering client briefs, producing PowerPoint charts and manipulating Excel data. You’ll support the development of accurate and informed media schedules, processing media bookings, creating production schedules and collating production specs. Whilst campaigns are live, you’ll be producing in-campaign reports and helping to make changes & improvements to optimise delivery. You’ll contribute to the creation of post-campaign reports which highlight key takeouts from advertising activity summarising learnings to build into future campaigns.
You’ll be confident & articulate, able to digest research and insight to formulate and persuasively articulate your thoughts both in written and verbal formats. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft office programmes - using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams effectively are key requirements of the position, plus you’ll quickly pick up the ability to use other tools & platforms we use daily.
There’s plenty to learn – you’ll be liaising regularly with media suppliers building your knowledge and your contact base as you grow your understanding of each media type. You’ll also be a key contact point for creative agencies and clients, acting as a support in delivering media campaigns against strict deadlines – being organised, adaptable and calm under pressure are key attributes you’ll need.
You’ll also support your team and the company in the day-to-day running of the office, helping your colleagues to deliver best in class client service in a professional and efficient manner.
You’ll need to have a commitment to integrity & hard work and have a warm, friendly and supportive personality. Having the enthusiasm to succeed, the resilience to bounce back when things don’t go to plan and the confidence to try new things are all important attributes. Excellent communication and listening skills are a must.
