Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Days + OT

£35k - 40k
Jackson Hogg is excited to be supporting a well-known manufacturer in County Durham in their support for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance activities across site, mainly focusing on Mechanical breakdowns, repair and maintenance.
Working in a busy and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for:
- Pumps, Pneumatics and Hydraulics repair and maintenance
- Basic Welding and Burning repairs
- Some tooling and handwork such as lathes and milling
- Basic electrical work (Additional electrical knowledge on Automation or Welding Robotics would be advantageous)
- Supporting site PPM strategy
The ideal candidate will:
- Be fully time served with a minimum level 3 qualification
- Have experience in Heavier Industries such as Steel or Metals would be most desired but fast-moving environments such as Automotive, Food or Packaging are proactively considered
Candidates with a CNC, Fitter or Tooling apprenticeship who have progressed into a maintenance role would be openly considered. Additionally, those with a strong Multi Skilled background with equal Mechanical and Electrical skills would be highly desired.
