This position will ensure that all the designed mechanical systems and structures are being designed as per the government rules and regulation and that quality standards are being maintained at optimum level. Ensures that the work performed is complete and accurate and that it adheres by the drawing specifications and standards. Develops and maintains proficiency and competency in the application of engineering principles, mechanical designing, analysis and development of mechanical systems.
Requirements:- Study and analyze the details involved in project planning, the design layouts and any other data that has the specific details and to pay attention to the details in the blueprints, maps, and other related drawings
- Prepare rough cost estimates that would include the cost of the equipment, material as well as the labor cost that is required to complete the project within the given deadline.
- Lead, direct, and supervise the other staff members and to ensure that all the activities at the actual site are being managed and carried out effectively.
- Be involved in designing structures and advise the other members regarding any changes that need to be made and communicate it to the senior personnel.
- Ensure that all the project specifications have been met and that all the safety and appropriate measures have been taken care of.
- Identify technical or other issues, resolve them, and to prepare the reports related to various proposals, deviations, etc.
- Test and design the production of equipment, recognition of design flaws, the development of procedures.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications.
- Understand other aspects of equipment engineering processes like maintaining compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Prepare technical reports, documents, and data sheets for office records and presenting these reports.
- Review overall activities of manufacturing, product testing, compliance action, and acceptance activities performed during the equipment engineering processes.
- Analyze findings with respect to company standards, and prepare technical reports with specification on equipment usage, maintenance, and safety precautions in consistent daily usage of the equipment by our customers.
- Conduct training sessions for junior engineers, providing thorough training on designing, development and maintenance of new and existing equipment manufactured by the organization, and instructing them on the procedures to be carried out for repairing the same.

Required Education & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering within the Oil & Gas field.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil, Water Resources or similar field
- Additional licensure or previous work experience in designing hydraulic systems or components is preferred.
- A Professional Engineer License is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.
- Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
- Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on computer keyboard.
