Job Description:

• We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Mechanical Test and Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and ability to understand, execute, and record data for testing robotic hardware components. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Test Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

Specific Projects

• Hardware test
• Mechanical engineer background needed not EE or software skills
• Design experience, CAD knowledge, solid works, 3D CAD experience
• Class work or experience in simply mechanics building, electro mechanics
• Data documentation skills, writing test plans and test reports

Hardware testing:

• All hardware products that come through client robotics, autonomous program developing, manipulation products (robotic arms, grasping of items, sensors or cameras).

Data Type:

• Pass/fail criteria, vibration analysis (temp, humidity, environmental data)

Programming Languages

• Python #1, scripting in MAT Lab or C.

Expectations

• Vibration or environmental testing

Must-haves

• Mechanical Background 3D modeling experience, Design experience preferred
• 3D CAD experience – even if it is classroom experience
• Data documentation skills

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
