Job description
My client design and manufacture a very wide range of audio/video and other products amongst them CD players, DVD players, Tuners Amplifiers Multi-Room systems, Structured Wiring systems, Automated Lighting, Mixers and Active and Passive Loudspeakers and Subwoofers. They have a vacany for a Mechanical Designer with a qualification in Engineering / Manufacturing / Design or relevant subject. You will need Knowledge and experience of the manufacturing techniques, processes and materials used in the mechanical packaging of electronic products. AutoCad Experience is essential. Must have SolidWorks. The role involves helping to design from concept to completion – liasing with factories – technical drawings – assembly modelling - renderings for marketing and internal use etc. You must be able to both work with your own initiative and as a team player.
