Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our experienced team of Engineers based in Grimsby.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in the design of stainless steel platforms, conveyors, chute, transition, ducting and food process equipment.

The successful candidate must be able to produce the following drawings:

• Be able to create 2d and 3d concept drawings
• Develop 2d and 3d concept drawings into full manufacturing drawings for our workshops
• Prepare constructability drawings to assist our site teams
• Develop 3D models into laser patterns which identifies bend lines and has made allowance for bend radiuses.
• Be proficient in using 2d AutoCAD, Solidworks or 3d AutoCAD.
