CMID, Inc. is an Indianapolis based, full service entrepreneurial MBE consulting engineering firm. We offer Civil & Environmental, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical Disciplines. Clients include large, nationally known consulting firms such as Jacob's Engineering, Arcadis, Donahue, and Greeley & Hanson; industrial and infrastructure entities such as Eli Lilly & Co., Citizens Energy Group, AES Indianapolis (IPL Co.), Indianapolis Airport Authority, Indianapolis Department of Public Works; commercial enterprises such as Shiel Sexton, Conerstone Construction, and Browning Investments; and area architectural firms.

CMID is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its expanding Mechanical group. Qualified candidates must be creative, and quality focused with experience in performing calculations and understanding design concepts and documentation.

Job responsibilities include:

• Support the Design and development of projects as it relates to the discipline.
• Operationally responsible for the timely delivery of segments for projects to clients, which will include project responsibilities on sub-consultant teams.
• Responsible for the development and/or maintenance of client relationships, assisting in the preparation of project proposals, and for ongoing projects review and support.
• Be able to interpret and implement within AutoCAD or Revit the designs as drafted by the individual or senior engineers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills required.

Qualified candidates must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should also desire to have Indiana PE or EIT certification. The Candidate should have demonstrated strengths in HVAC and Plumbing design and implementation for industrial and commercial applications. Experience with industry software such as Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
