An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced nurse leader to join our well established team of nurses within the Directorate of Clinical Imaging and Medical Physics. The post holder will support the specialty teams in the delivery of excellent, compassionate care whilst maintaining high professional standards.
Applicants must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration, have experience in an acute hospital setting and a commitment to developing safe, timely and quality care.

We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and forward thinking Matron.
The post holder will be responsible for the on-going safe and effective delivery for their designated portfolio to ensure the attainment of quality and clinical performance indicators concerned with nursing and midwifery practice and the wider context of patient care delivery.
A key part of the role will be providing clinical, managerial and professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels within their area of responsibility ensuring that patient care is delivered to a high standard.
The Directorate provides a comprehensive imaging service across three hospital sites, modalities include CT, MRI, U/S, X-ray, Breast Imaging, Fluoroscopy and SPECT-CT, an adult and paediatric Interventional Radiology service covering both vascular and oncology work.
