Are you passionate about numbers, equations, and the beauty of mathematical reasoning? We are seeking talented and dedicated Maths Teachers to join our exceptional team at a leading educational institution in Harlow.
We believe in equipping students with the mathematical skills and mindset needed to navigate the complexities of the modern world. As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a love for mathematics, inspire critical thinking, and help students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment where students can explore the depth and breadth of mathematical concepts with curiosity and confidence.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to make abstract mathematical concepts tangible and relatable.
- Encourage problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking through real-world applications of mathematics.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, guiding them towards mastery and supporting their individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive and progressive mathematics curriculum that aligns with national standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant teaching certification or licensure.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement.
- Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Passion for staying up to date with the latest developments and best practices in mathematics education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures every student's mathematical abilities.
