Job Title: Math Graduate Teacher - Secondary School Location: Harlow Are you a Math Graduate with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds? We have an exciting opportunity for you to kick-start your teaching career as a Math Graduate Teacher at our esteemed secondary school. Responsibilities: Engage and captivate secondary school students with dynamic and interactive math lessons. Collaborate with experienced educators to plan and prepare engaging lesson materials, activities, and exercises. Adapt teaching strategies to cater to students' diverse learning needs and foster their understanding of mathematical concepts. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records to monitor their growth. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical exploration. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the math curriculum through collaboration with other math teachers and staff. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences to expand your knowledge and skills. Inspire student participation in extracurricular math-related activities, such as math competitions, clubs, and problem-solving challenges. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field. Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential. A genuine passion for math and a strong desire to inspire and motivate students to explore the wonders of mathematics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues. Organizational skills that enable effective lesson planning and management. An understanding of current educational practices, or a willingness to learn, to implement various teaching strategies that cater to diverse learners. Basic computer skills and openness to using educational technology and digital resources. Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset to contribute to the school community.
