Role Overview
We are looking for:
As a Udel Utilities Engineer you will be part of the Production team and provide engineering support to the site to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems involved with day-to-day ongoing operations utility supply.
We count on you for:
- Monitor daily performance of the site Utilities. Develop, propose, implement, and/or follow up on process and facility improvements involved in ongoing operations (variable costs, productivity, quality, HSE, reliability, maintenance)
- Manage the implementation of improvements to the site's utility systems
- Develop and maintain written documentation about the ongoing production/utilities processes and the facilities
- Follow up technological developments within own domain of expertise through a network of technological informants such as DCTRP, RD&T, Transversal Functions in the manufacturing group
- Provide support in the development of budget proposals for process and the utility construction projects
- Assist with preparation, and when necessary, delivery of technical training for employees
- Track, document, analyze and prepare reports for OEE. Develop and propose countermeasures for potential improvements
- Reach utility uptime (OEE) targets and complete regulatory activities (PHA, MOC, PSSR) per requirements and on-time
- Maintain performance management tools actively tracking performance and develop prioritized action plans
- Identify, implement and complete per targets improvement initiatives

You will be able and accountable for ensuring plant operations and maintaining manufacturing excellence & management systems defined by the business unit, as well as ensuring everything is working accordingly.
You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent
- 1 to 5 years of experience
- Technical knowledge of chemical plant unit operations and processes is a plus
- Ability to lead and collaborate in problem-solving and root-cause investigation
- Ability to support and influence continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Drive, etc.) and MS Office programs
- Fluent in English. Another language is a plus
- Communicative and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and achievement drive
You will get:
- The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is $80,000 to $100,000. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonuses and/or other incentives
