We are looking for a Materials Person to join our Stores team within Score Group based at our facility in Peterhead.

About the role
The Materials person will be responsible for the full cycle of materials management within their stores. This will include the receipt of goods coming in, the management of stock within the stores and packing and shipping goods.

- Follow Correct procedures when receipting and adding goods into stock
- Organise stock and maximise storage locations
- Follow correct procedures including First In First Out (FIFO) when picking and distributing spares to Customer jobs
- Manage and report stock shortages to minimise workshop downtime
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records for all stock and updating company systems as required daily
- Reconciliation of stock holding from discrepancy
- Following Customer specific packaging and shipping requirements relating to goods being returned to customers
- Ensuring goods are correctly packaged when sending out for Sub-con
- Manage and create dispatch documentation ensuring compliance
- Organise courier collections and required AWB’s
- Review and manage shipment costs and record any discount savings
- Completing weekly maintenance and lifting equipment checks
- Ensuring care is taken when carrying out forklift (reach truck) tasks especially when transporting heavy goods and working at height within the racking areas
- Issuing goods from our consigned stock to workshop personnel and keeping stock levels at Min/Max quantities
- Working at the Goods In area and unloading/receiving deliveries for Score Energy as and when required
