Job description
As part of this organization, the Director, Decision & Intelligence Solutions is responsible for developing and managing Fraud, Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral and Device decisioning related products and services which Mastercard can offer customers across all related stakeholders including, consumers, issuers, acquirers, processors, Governments and merchants.
This role will work closely with both internal, external, private and public sector parties to understand the needs and technology required to deliver applicable solutions. This role will report to the Vice President, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Europe. The location of this position is London (UK).
Role Overview
- Be end responsible for the assigned Cyber & Intelligence Solutions products in the Fraud, Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral and Device decisioning Solutions domain in Europe on all aspects including P&L, KPI’s, go-to-market strategy, ….
- Research of trends and threats to Mastercard customers across the entire digital ecosystem and broader financial sectors
- Work with Mastercard teams to develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies across entire C&I product suite of AI solutions
- Manage the product lifecycle including business case creation, viability study technology assessment, go-to-market plan and product development.
- Engage with key stakeholders; issuers, merchants, consumer focus groups and governments to ensure a detailed viability study of proposed solutions
- Engage with the various divisional expert teams and sales teams to build out a detailed go-to market plan for the European region.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop product roadmaps
- Identify and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives across all Mastercard Customer bases, including establishing go-to-market approach and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success.
- Deliver presentations, webinars and tutorials to demonstrate value to all stakeholders and further the ambition and success of Cyber & Intelligence products and services.
- Drive product and consumer strategies for new and existing suite of products to be leveraged with cross-functional teams including Financial Institutions, Governments, Large Scale Merchants and Small/Medium Businesses
- Translate stakeholder insights into differentiated value propositions for strategic segments and constantly evaluates the value creation process to drive world-class products.
- Test, challenge and improve product business cases for overall viability and financial validity, leveraging business and financial acumen
- Be a subject matter expert, advocate and champion for designated Fraud, Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral and Device decisioning products to all stakeholders
- Recommend and influence product pricing, and oversee the development of training and other product support materials for MasterCard's most critical products
Skills Required
- Experience and understanding of existing and emerging Fraud, Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral and Device opportunities and the use of sophisticated modelling techniques for decision making
- Technical familiarity with existing and emerging security technologies, related risks and business opportunities
- Knowledge of fraud & risk management landscape, tools, solutions, major threats and trends in the industry
- The ability to build and maintain a network of relevant professionals across different sectors to help build Mastercard’s reputation as a credible component of the AI and Fraud & Risk community
- Experience and comfort in presenting Fraud, Artificial Intelligence, Behavioral and Device decisioning tools to senior level audiences and simplification of complex topics
- Ability to influence with effective communications and negotiation skills
- Experience in working with cross functional teams in executing projects
- Ability to be a strong people manager, with experience of developing teams to achieve both personal and business success
- Preferred – knowledge of the payments industry, with particular attention to Fraud & Risk domain expertise
