What you’ll do:
As Stores/Material Coordinatoor you will have responsibility for the storage and distribution of stock, at a Service Centre or Yard including:
- Shipping & Receiving
- Warehousing
- Order Packing
- Dispatch
- Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure receiving goods from supplier on timely basis and are not defective, wrong, or damaged.
- Ensure all physical goods are stored in the relevant bin location.
- Assist in arranging storage of materials on racks/bins/containers on receipt of orders.
- Ensure goods received are physically verified and receipted on ERP system.
- Monitor levels on consumable, non-stock items and inform Stores Supervisor for timely replenishment.
- Put away of stock items to correct locations.
- Review daily incoming pick lists and ensure picking & packing of goods are distributed to Aggreko depots & project sites, including the completion of distribution orders on ERP system.
- Create space & bin location of new items into inventory.
- Carry out cycle counting and prepare stores for stock counts.
- Completion of quarterly stock counts and weekly cycle counts.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of central stores.
Who we’re looking for…
You will have experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of materials handling. You will have excellent verbal communication skills and will need to be able to work under pressure to deliver tasks on time, and to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
You’ll be self-motivated, with problem solving skills and a quality led approach being able to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond your day-to-day remit.
