Who we are seeking
We are now recruiting Upholsterers to join the Sunseeker family and help play a vital role in the manufacturing of our world-renowned product range. As a Sunseeker Upholsterer, your work will be admired across countless countries.
This role may be best suited to Upholsterers from either the marine, automotive or aeronautical industry.
You'll be based at Sunseeker Technology Centre at Tower Park in Poole, Dorset, completing various upholstery work packages throughout our luxury cabins, modern kitchens, spacious bathrooms, and with unique upholstered items.
- building high quality, standard and bespoke internal and external upholstery - manufactured right 1st time, to company specifications
- templating templating, cutting leather, vinyl, canvas, textiles & foams, chasing, gluing & foam construction, stapling, fitting & dressing finished items. Ability to use power tools such as foam saws, drills, heat guns, steamers
- maintaining pace and productivity to meet production schedule
- supporting other departments to increase overall efficiency
- looking for and supporting improvements on a daily basis
Our ideal candidate
- Has previous experience and upholstery competence in; marine, automotive, aerospace or furniture manufacturing (relevant qualifications would be advantageous).
- Displays competence in reading and understanding technical drawings / sketches
- Has basic IT abilities to support management information systems
- Seeks to pursue perfection, with a coachable and engaged attitude
Our working patterns
- Day Shift | Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 | Overtime (x1.5) widely available
- Weekend overtime is widely available
