3D Designer - Exhibitions and Events

£40k - £50k

The 3D Designer will be joining a Global Brand Experience Agency who create experiences, events, exhibitions and activations for a host of Global brands. Working in 3DS Max, the 3D Designer will work with the wider Production and Tech teams to take and understand a brief, research the space, create and ideate with the team to enable you to come up with the most creative response to the brief possible.

Working within a small 3D team, this role will be very collaborative with the agencies wider teams across creative, client services and production.

The 3D Designer will be responsible for their own time, briefs and projects and will split their time from office to remote working, although there isn't a structured hybrid working model, the majority of the agency does a day or 2 a week in the office, given the nature of the powerful PC towers the 3D team use, they're typically not expected to lug that around to the office allowing more flexibility when cracking on with your projects. You'd also be supplied with a Laptop for those days you do venture into the office.

Working from concept sketches, detailed working drawings and full colour renders, you'll be working in 3DS Max to produce thought provoking and realistic visuals to enable to client to visualise your creative vision.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in 3D modelling and visualisation packages (3D Studio Max essential and Vray beneficial)
  • Technical skills to produce spatial layouts and internal/external visuals
  • Confidence to collaborate directly with clients, contractors and a busy studio team
  • Creative and practical use of architecture and knowledge of build materials would be beneficial
  • Experience in AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
