Petroassist UK Ltd is part of the Petrotec Group of Companies. We are a nationwide sales, service and installation business, selling and maintaining a range of forecourt equipment including Pumps, Payment Terminals, Tank Gauges and other ancillary equipment.
This role will act as the central point of enquiry for all material shipments to and from the site. Reporting to the Parts & Logistics Manager this role will cover stores, goods-in, dispatch and general warehouse duties
Requirements
- Fork Lift Truck licence - preferred but training can be provided
- Previous experience of a similar material shipping role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft systems / stock management systems
Position Responsibilities
Working as part of the Parts & Logistics team you will support the business in the following key tasks:
- Loading & unloading of vehicles using forklift trucks
- Checking goods delivered against suppliers paperwork / computerized system
- Updating computer system with shipping details TNT, BYBOX,
- Operation of planning worksheets
- Preparing paperwork for shipping goods to customers and field service engineers (IBox)
- Checking and packing goods for shipments and installation projects
- Arranging shipping of goods for offsite storage when required
- Preparing manual and computerized paperwork for shipping purposes
- Operation of planning worksheets. Picking and packing parts
- Support for logistics team members
- Conduct perpetual cycle counts
- Ensuring that products are efficiently stored away in their right locations
- General housekeeping and other general warehouse duties
Essential Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Navision ERP Experience
- Engineering environment background
- Similar material handling / shipping experience
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment, adopting a proactive and positive approach
- Basic level of Excel / Office / email is essential. Computer competence
- Ability to work on own initiative
Possessing a high personal working standard with an emphasis on customer facing abilities, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude. You will have the ability to perform as a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
