Shift Master Technician / Mechanic – Aberdare
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to join our team in Aberdare.
- Hourly rate of up to £20.50 with typical annualized earnings over £40,000 with overtime.
- Guaranteed 39 minimum hours with plenty of overtime potential available at enhanced rates
- Up to 7 weeks of holiday per year (after the qualifying period).
You’ll be part of the team to maintain and repair a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.

There are a few things we need from you:
- You need to have an engineering background with a vehicular focus and a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent – bus, HGV, car / light van, plant, rail, farm – if it moves, it’s a good experience!
- You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair
- We operate our buses almost 24 hours a day and although we try to makeshift patterns as friendly as possible, there may be required to cover late shifts and/or weekends on a rotational basis.
