Job description
The MASH Administrator role is a newly created post which will actively support the collection and collation of information requested as part of the multi-agency safeguarding hubs to inform decisions made at the operational front door.
The post holder will be responsible for collating and providing information related to the clinicians in the team to support MASH enquiries received through the local authority integrated front doors. The post holder will support the safeguarding health leads by providing them with information upon which the safeguarding leads can then form their analysis of the risk to a child.
The role will support a range of complex and sensitive administrative functions to ensure the effective and timely access to information for staff in the MASH and for the storage and sharing of information between MASH and other professionals.

The main duties are to provide an effective administration support service to the health practitioners in the MASH, including monitoring of incoming work on behalf of the health practitioners within the MASH health team and co-ordinating this in relation to effective prioritisation.
You will be expected to independently manage requests for information queries which do not require clinical input.; to gather information for MASH enquiries and for some strategy discussions within your own level of competency and provide this to the MASH Band 6 Nurses to complete their analysis prior to submission.
All administrative functions will be supported by this role in the MASH health team. This will include receiving and managing the timely administration of referrals including:
Ensuring all referral information is available to clinician.
Finding and registering service users on SystmOne (S1);
Updating Groups and Relationships on S1;
Uploading documents to S1 following clinical review;
Supporting follow up calls and actions.
