Job Description – Gravity Active Entertainment
Title: Marshall
Location: Luton
Position reports to: Park Management
Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide a friendly and enthusiastic service, creating an amazing entertainment experience for all our customers. To ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are met, to secure the safety of customers and staff at all times. To show an appreciation of, and commitment to the culture and philosophy of Gravity.
To respond to all lines of communication, booking parties and group events, assisting with online sales, verifying waivers, and general office duties including cash handling.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers entering the jumping area.
- Ensure that all jumpers have a valid waiver, wristband, are wearing trampoline socks and no loose jewellery.
- Ensure all customers watch the relevant safety briefing before bouncing.
- Ensure all customers complete a warm up before bouncing.
- Ensure that everyone adheres to the Company’s Health and Safety Policies for each activity.
- Coordinate the clearing of the trampoline courts of customers whose time has elapsed.
- Ensure that all pads, nets, springs and other safety items are functioning properly on the trampoline park.
- Monitor cleanliness in all customer facing areas.
- Report any problems or issues to the supervisor or manager on duty.
- Attend to all injured visitors within your designated area and implement first aid as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all organisational policies and procedures, including those for stock control and cash handling.
- Complete any other duties as and when requested by a supervisor or management.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Demonstrates a ‘can do, will do’ positive attitude and enthusiastic approach.
- Customer focused professional attitude to service.
- Able to deal with customers of all ages.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to speak confidently in front of large groups.
- Able to work flexible and unsocial hours including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.
- Basic IT, numeracy and literacy skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working within a fast-paced leisure or customer facing role.
- Previous experience of working with children, such as a play centre or similar.
