Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants or support workers to join a new team supporting a lady with her complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants or support workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service user.
Our service user is an adult female in her late 20s who lives in Hednesford, she lives independently with the support of her care team on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and night.
Your role will be to assist with her routine, ensuring her independence, clinical and social care needs are met.
She is actively involved in directing her day to day care and is looking for individuals to join her team who will respect her wishes, whom she can get along with and enjoy her sense of humour.
Having a great personality along with the skill of being able to her support emotionally and ability to promote her wellbeing is an important part of the role, this will ensure she is happy and content in her day to life.
She enjoys all things sports related and is a big fan of cycling as she used to cycle for GB.
You will be required to support her with accessing the community, domestic tasks around the home and cooking nutritional meals that she enjoys.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of her care team while being able to develop your current care skills.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Spinal injury experience
- Bowel care
- Knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
We have the following shifts available;
- Full time & Part time
- Days 8am-8pm
- Nights 8pm-8am
- This will include alternative weekends
Take a look at our pay rates!
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £192.00 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays £17.50 per hour (Approx. £210 per 12-hour shift)
