Philex Electronic Ltd is a leading B2B and B2C consumer electronic accessories manufacturer and distributor selling to Amazon worldwide as well as global retailers and distributors in the UK/Europe. With a head office in Bedford, Philex has invested extensively in its own manufacturing and logistics facilities in China and offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Its B2C operations have more than doubled year on year for the past 5 years and are predicted to continue to do so as it invests in developing new internal and external talent, new products, new ranges, new markets, new sales initiatives, technologies and agile working practices. The current team have successfully propelled our ranges of Clock Radios, DAB Radios and DIY products to market leading positions online.
Philex are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Marketplace Manager for its E-Commerce Department, primarily supplying to Amazon UK, Europe and USA. The successful candidate will maximise visibility, exposure and revenue on its third-party selling platforms, manage PPC spend, brand stores, product launches and lifecycles with the help of the ecommerce, product and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise analytics to discover and implement actionable insights.
- Product management on relevant marketplaces.
- Maximise conversion rates and discoverability through innovative product descriptions, titles & USP’s.
- Ensuring new ranges and product launches run smoothly liaising with buying and marketing teams.
- Working with supply chain team, ensuring sufficient stock coverage at all times.
- Create and manage promotion activity throughout the year and peak sales seasons.
- Researching category and product viability.
- Research potential expansions into new non-Amazon selling platforms.
- Managing advertising campaigns in assigned marketplaces (targeted on minimising costs and improving ROAS)
- Assisting with automation of selling campaigns through third party software tools
- Developing and managing social media campaigns in line with promotions
- Use raw data to develop insights to drive design making including promotional activity, price and content changes and ranging decisions.
- Undertaking administrative tasks to ensure data accuracy for business reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in working with and growing online marketplaces.
- Experience in working with Website CMS or data uploads into websites including Shopify and Wordpress would be beneficial.
- Strong copywriting and creativity skills
- Ability to work with large data sets
- Strong excel skills including data manipulation, interpretation and troubleshooting,
- Experience in liaising with multiple departments within a company.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of fundamental profit and loss
- Analytical and numeracy skills.
- Written and verbal skills in French, Spanish, Italian or German would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of working in a retail orientated ecommerce environment.
Whilst this is a hybrid position with remote working, it is preferable to attend head office in Bedford at least one day per month in order to attend monthly strategy meetings.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
