An exciting new opportunity to join our Commercial Marketing Team as a Team Assistant.
Role Overview :
To provide Administrative support to Directors in the Commercial Marketing team and general marketing support to the wider team (event co-ordination, activity calendar, delegate management, advert booking process, design briefing forms etc).
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic Marketing Team.
The successful candidate will be a good team player, passionate about delivering best service to colleagues and clients, with strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and a willingness to learn. Good Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills a prerequisite.
You will have previous PA experience and be able to work in a fun but pressured and busy environment. The candidate will also need to show initiative, be self motivated, efficient and reliable.
This role provides the opportunity to get entry level experience in a busy B2B marketing function and has the scope to grow as the successful candidate’s technical skills develop.

Key Responsibilities :
- Providing full PA support to the Directors of the team and administrative support to members of the team.
- Inbox management including responding to colleague emails and actioning where necessary for Directors.
- Diary management for Directors and Associate Directors
- Ensuring the Directors be as organised and prepared each day as possible
- Managing team/client activity and event calendars (using Monday.com)
- Organising B2B client events/webinars and internal events/entertainment – including delegate management, venue liaison, catering, budgets
- Manage advert booking process (in collaboration with central design/brand team) for client schemes in relevant trade press
- Expenses (Directors and AD’s)
- Organising domestic and overseas travel including accommodation and itineraries.
- Coordinating team meetings including creating agendas and taking minutes
- Updating and/or formatting schedules, spreadsheets, presentations, marketing materials.
- Developing tools and procedures to ensure that the teams are supported as efficiently as possible.
- Overseeing and helping compliance for the team
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook is essential.
- Additional ad-hoc marketing support activity as required by the team
Key Skills :
- Previous PA experience is desirable.
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge incl. PowerPoint
- Excellent communication
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Good team player but also able to work on their own and use their own initiative
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
