Introduction
Hey, Liam here from Digiseed. We're a digital marketing agency that works with high-growth B2B SaaS companies, providing services across Paid Acquisition and Conversion Rate Optimisation. We're looking for a Marketing Strategist to join the team and help us take things to the next level.
Our principles as a company:
- Aim for excellence - we maintain the highest standards in everything we do.
- The best idea wins - regardless of seniority or role, we work towards the best solution.
- See problems as challenges - growth is a tough game; you've got to enjoy the ride.
- Challenge the status quo - we apply a fresh perspective; just because it's always been done a certain way doesn't mean we need to do it that way.
The Role
You will be the glue that keeps our operations and client delivery together, working closely with me (the founder) to continue delivering an excellent client experience by diving into the strategy side of things, ensuring we keep our edge and help clients grow, while also ensuring our projects run smoothly from start to finish.
If you're someone who is organised, loves a challenge and wants to work with exciting SaaS companies, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Client strategy: You will be a driving force for client success in collaboration with the founder, helping to strategise and build campaigns, brief team members so they can deliver and ensure we're hitting our objectives and KPIs.
- Operations: You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, helping to build roadmaps for new clients and the day-to-day support of existing clients, building upon our existing processes to make things run smoother.
- Communication: You will support clients as a secondary point of contact, ensuring they are updated on progress and regularly providing valuable insights. You will also communicate internally, understanding clients' needs and translating them into tasks for individuals to action.
- Research: We deliver results because we stay on the cutting edge. You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table and be an expert our clients can rely on.
The ideal candidate
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally at a marketing agency.
- Experience or familiarity with B2B SaaS companies, understanding the nuances, challenges and target audiences.
- An understanding of marketing funnels, advertising, human psychology and why people buy things.
- Skills in project management, client relationships and communication. You can manage time effectively, foresee potential challenges and make required changes.
- Technical proficiency: You understand how to use project management software such as Clickup & Notion and how to navigate marketing tools such as analytics tools, ad platforms, email software, etc.
- The ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership skills. You're self-motivated and able to take the initiative while under pressure.
- While not mandatory, having some background in a creative role (e.g. copywriting, design) would be advantageous.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal.
What success looks like in this role
- You consistently manage and deliver client projects and campaigns on time, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Clients regularly express their satisfaction with the way we operate. They feel informed, valued, and confident in our guiding direction.
- You identify and implement new processes or tools that enhance the agency's efficiency. The way client projects and campaigns are managed evolves and improves.
- You actively seek out opportunities for professional development, ensuring you're always at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, both operationally and in marketing.
- Both the team and clients appreciate your clear and effective communication. Everyone always knows the next steps and any changes in direction.
What's in it for you
- You will get the opportunity to work with high-growth B2B SaaS companies and have a measurable impact on their trajectory.
- Professional growth is guaranteed. There will be plenty of opportunities to broaden your skillset due to your regular exposure to client campaigns, and you will have access to our paid training resources.
- Ongoing mentorship. You will work closely with the founder, learning to ideate and structure high-performing marketing campaigns.
- Due to being a small company that's early in its journey, your work will have a big impact and you will have a voice.
