Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the Wealth Management marketing team in London.
This role will join a team of ten across various disciplines including events, content, digital and brand. The team is also supported by an external PR specialist, external copywriters, a design agency, a group digital team and corporate events team.
The team is responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing activity for the Wealth Management division in the UK, supporting our Client Advisers to better serve their clients and reach our business goals through communication, digital, events and other marketing channels.
This role would suit someone who is interested in gaining broad entry-level marketing experience on a busy team and should be interested in the financial services industry. The role offers variety across marketing activities and our new team member should be willing to learn and contribute across the board.
Responsibilities include:
Digital - Contribute to the success of our digital platforms – email and marketing automation (Marketo), website (EPiServer) and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics). Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver high quality digital communications and new client acquisition across digital channels.
Communications – Contribute to the overall communications strategy and programme of content – supporting several campaigns/topics, and creating content as required for print, web, email and social channels.
Quarterly reporting – Support the end of quarter client reporting cycle, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of communications.
Events – Work on the execution of events at a campaign level, and on occasion will be required to support on the day.
Sponsorships – Work across the team to activate and maximise sponsorship opportunities.
Compliance – Along with other members of the team, become the first line of defence for financial promotions sent from the business.
Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- Educated to a degree-level (ideally a business or marketing-related degree)
- An interest in working within the financial services industry
- Interested in marketing and business development
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Some relevant work experience is desirable
