About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Scottish Autism’s marketing team. The post holder will play an important role in supporting a fast-moving programme of work, delivered by a small but highly dedicated marketing team.
Specifically, you will bring creative flair to help develop and deliver internal and external marketing initiatives and help develop and improve social media and digital communications, helping raise the profile of Scottish Autism and its work to uphold the brand. You will create, update and maintain web content and source engaging social media content, ensuring agreed standards and styles are adhered to. You will identify and pursue opportunities to engage with the local media to increase coverage in print and broadcast outlets by proactively looking for content. You will maintain and update a social media calendar with planned social media activity and new social media requests, building relationships with colleagues to help source future content There will be a requirement for you to support at events, therefore a driving licence would be desirable.
About You:
You will have strong project management skills and an ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment. Strong interpersonal skills and team working, the ability to develop and establish strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders is essential. You will have a love for all things social and digital marketing and have experience of managing social media channels and developing digital marketing initiatives. Experience/understanding of the third sector would be advantageous.
You will either be Educated to degree level in Marketing or related discipline or have relevant on the job marketing experience and be able to demonstrate skills including Project management, time management, use of digital tools including web CMC and social media (in professional capacity) and copy writing.
