Hospitality & Events (FoodOnCampus) is a busy, diverse department where you will be able to work in a fast paced environment. An exciting role has become available within FoodOnCampus on a part time basis (25 hours per week) reporting to the Marketing Manager.
This role will be responsible for developing and evolving the FoodOnCampus product range. By using appropriate marketing techniques such as digital marketing, you will aim to increase the profile and maximise the sales income of the Catering Operations Portfolio within Hospitality and Events.
By implementing a budgeted marketing plan and promotional calendar for Hospitality and Events, you will continue to develop FoodOnCampus and The Market brand awareness. You will ensure all new products are consistently and correctly rolled out across the outlets which will reach the customer as conceived, whilst working closely with suppliers and managers to ensure new products are optimally displayed to maximise sales potential.
You will maintain and continually develop the food-related websites and their social media content, aiming to promote FoodOnCampus and The Market to increase customer loyalty.
You will have professional marketing material production skills and promotions techniques which will have been gained within a comparable service related working environment. Experience of liaising with external agencies and developing briefs. Business report writing skills, along with sound written communication skills.
