QC Packaging Technician
Job Overview
Applications are invited for the position of QC Packaging Technician, reporting directly to the
QC Packaging Supervisor. The successful candidate will be based within the Component
Packaging section and will be responsible for the testing of all Primary and Secondary
Packaging components received into Norbrook Laboratories Ltd.
Main Activities/Tasks
- The testing of receipts of packaging components for full compliance to the approved
- The generation of Packaging Component Specification documents.
- Maintenance of complete and accurate documentation in compliance with current
- The control and maintenance of the system for the recording and storage of retention
- The responsibility to approve and control the issuing of Working Copy Documents for
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must therefore demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application
form in order to be considered:
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE level standard or equivalent, with passes in English,
- Self-motivated, proactive and possess excellent organisational and motivational skills,
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern.
Desirable Criteria:
Due to the nature of the role preference will be given to applicants demonstrating the
following desirable criteria:
- At least 2 years' experience working within a GMP environment.
