The Global Purpose and Social Impact team is all about making a difference in society. We are looking for an individual to help us tell the story of how our WorldImpact portfolio of programs is making a difference, with a particular focus on WorldClass, Deloitte’s social impact initiative to empower 100 million futures by 2030. This role is in Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte Global) within Global Brand.

In this role you will:

  • Evolve, develop and execute internal and external purpose and societal impact related communications, campaigns and engagement activities (e.g., delivering strategic positioning, marketing, social media campaigns, newsletters, speeches, web content etc.)
  • In coordination with other team members, manage a firm-wide purpose and societal impact engagement calendar aligned to key initiatives, reports, themes, events, and other purpose-related launches / campaigns
  • Manage deliverable reviews and risk processes across the purpose and societal impact team, purpose leadership, and across various firm stakeholders
  • Coordinate with external agencies and contractors, as applicable, on internal and external strategy and messaging
  • Build and manage purpose and societal impact related speaking engagements, and events in alignment with marketing and overall Purpose and societal impact strategies
  • Manage key milestones, activities, and results / KPIs for executive-level reporting

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Relevant professional experience, extensive communications and marketing experience
  • Experience with creative copywriting and writing on responsible business, sustainability, corporate responsibility or education issues (preferred)
  • Storytelling and the ability to help people translate sometimes complex stories, into simple and impactful communications
  • Understanding of and ability to use a variety of marketing communications channels including email, film, audio, social media, blogs, webinars and presentations.
  • Experience managing initiatives and decisions across a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior partners, and across multiple countries, geographies and functions
  • Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and understanding where to focus
  • Desire to participate actively with points of view, ideas and opinions in meetings and other forums within an energetic and passionate team
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment and successfully work with a virtual team

Personal independence
