Job description
25 hours per week
Term time only plus 5 weeks (total 40 weeks per year)

If you are a creative and dynamic marketing professional, who can design, plan and produce written and visual content across websites and social media and produce regular newsletters, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team. In addition, you will be responsible for our more general marketing strategy and operations which gives a real breadth to the role.
We are a highly successful independent preparatory school in South West London. We provide a positive and inspiring environment for our students and staff. We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our pupils.
This busy, autonomous role will give you the opportunity to help create and set the marketing agenda as well as responsibility and autonomy over our digital marketing. Day to day you will update the website, promote the school across various social media platforms, arrange for photographs and videos to support our marketing and produce our weekly newsletter.
This role is ideal for a person with similar experience within a commercial or school or charity environment.
The role is available on a 4 or 5 days a week basis from 1st June 2023. We can be flexible on the exact working hours to accommodate part time working arrangements that tie in with your needs and those of the school. You will work during the school term including Inset (staff training) days plus 25 additional days to be worked during the school holidays. There are 2 Saturdays a year which you are required to work for Prize Day and Open Morning.
We offer competitive salaries, excellent training and CPD opportunities, a generous pension scheme and an inclusive and supportive workplace as well as a significant school fees discount scheme.
Closing date: 19th May, 12 noon. Early applications are invited and interviews will be held as soon as practicable. We reserve the right to appoint prior to the closing date. Initial interviews will be held online.
If you would like an informal discussion about the role please contact the Bursar, Mike Leeson, on 020 8949 2908

In this role you will be in regulated activity and therefore the successful applicant will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service criminal records bureau disclosure. It is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
Short-listed candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children.
