Cove Group has an exciting new vacancy for a Marketing Manager within our attraction division, based at Shrewsbury Prison.
Our attraction businesses deliver passionate and engaging customer experiences across a number of sites in the UK. Each attraction is rated as 5* across all review platforms, a rating which is unmatched by other attraction providers.
You will be analysing the business and marketing performance to identify challenges and growth opportunities. Leading the existing marketing team to devise strategic creative campaigns to deliver on these. The role will require you to undertake consumer insight & research: Reviewing and developing our user personas across B2B and B2C markets.
Experience of SEO, PPC and digital ads is essential, and the ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of these areas within marketing.
You will need to be able to create, manage and deliver marketing strategies, lead a team of marketing professionals who assist in the creation and delivery of the strategies. You will need to be incredibly well organised, able to multitask and work at a strategic level. Our ideal candidate will be driven, passionate and motivated to drive the success of the attraction division ensuring KPIs are achieved.
The Attraction Division encompasses Shrewsbury Prison in Shropshire and Shepton Mallet Prison in Somerset with a plan to grow the attractions within the division over the coming months.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Development and delivery of the marketing strategy
· Management and distribution of the marketing budget (circa £200K)
· Managing & Delivering PPC & Digital ads campaigns
· Working with external partners in content creation & website
· Responsibility for SEO terms
· Leading the marketing team, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to further support careers
· Ensuring the brand guidelines are followed
· Supporting the delivery of our mission statements

Desired Experience:
· 2 Years’ experience in a leadership marketing role
· Experience in running and managing PPC & digital ads
· Budget management & planning (circa 200K)
· Strong knowledge of all marketing aspects and areas
· Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Work & Excel

This role is 32 hours (4 days) per week, with a salary band of £32-£34K, depending on experience.
