How would you like to join a small team within a well-known aerospace company?
If you are dexterous and capable of following engineering drawings then you could be the perfect candidate to join a small team that specialise in wire locking.
Wire locking is a mechanical locking method to ensure the safety of aerospace parts on an aircraft. Wire locking will stop parts from becoming dislodged due to the vibration of the aircraft.
Working with materials such as stainless steel you will thread a wire through various aerospace components then twist and anchor the wire to hold the parts in place. You will also be involved with the engraving of the aerospace parts.
Daily tasks
· Wrapping wires around small aerospace components
· Following engineering diagrams
· Using an etching tool
No experience is necessary as full training is provided, however if you have a background in mechanical assembly and exposure to the aerospace industry then the training provided will come naturally to you.
Based in Havant you will be working Monday – Thursday 07.15-16.00 and 07.15 – 12.15 on a Friday meaning you can jet set off into your weekend early!
The hourly rate is £13.66 with holiday allowance, pension contributions and plenty of free parking available.
